Flower Festival 2018

“A Festival of Flowers – Sixty Years of Colour”
15th – 17th June 2018

In this, our 60th year, Shrewsbury Flower Club will celebrate its Diamond Anniversary with a Festival of Colours in Shrewsbury Abbey. The Abbey is to be dressed to the nines with floral displays by our Club members and open to the public for viewing, subject to the advertised services, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The inaugural meeting of the Club happened on 27th November 1958 with 175 people in attendance. Percy Thrower was our first president and so we are delighted to welcome Margaret Thrower as our guest speaker at the Afternoon Tea at the Lord Hill Hotel.
